Bradley Dredge's lead cut to one in

Denmark with a round to go

Bradley Dredge will take a one-shot lead into Sunday's final round of the European Tour's Made in Denmark tournament as he looks to continue his love affair with Himmerland Golf and Spa Resort.
The Welshman has a brilliant record at the Farsø venue, finishing second in 2014 and sixth last season, and a one over par round of 72 today got him to 12 under, a shot clear of Thomas Pieters, David Lipsky and Adrian Otaegui.
Dredge's third round was just the second time he has been over par on the north Denmark lay-out but leaves him in the driving seat as he goes in search of a first European Tour win since 2006.
A victory for Dredge would be the third of his career and he takes the lead into the final round for the 14th time.

"Not my best day today," he said. "I really struggled with the driver which has been a big strength of mine in the last two days so it was a tough day and I just had to try and make the most of it to stay in there and hopefully I'll play better tomorrow.
"I always believe that if you want to win a tournament you've got to go out there and win it, so I try to play aggressively off the tee and into the pins.
"I was in this situation a couple of years ago and I've been up there a couple of times this year, you know I want to win, that's what I play golf for."

Pieters was the form man coming into the week with top fives in his last two events and he recorded a round of 69 as he looks to impress Darren Clarke ahead of the Ryder Cup Captain making his picks on Tuesday.

Lipsky - who finished in the top ten in Prague last week - recorded a 67 on Saturday, putting him in contention for a second European Tour title, while Otaegui registered a 68.

Joakim Lagergren was then at ten under, two shots clear of Martin Kaymer, Paul Dunne and Ricardo Gouveia.
Dredge came into day three with a three-shot lead but that was soon wiped out as Lagergren made two early birdies and Dredge dropped a shot on the fourth after taking a drop.
Both of the leaders birdied the sixth but back-to-back bogeys from Lagergren on the ninth and tenth gave Dredge some breathing space before the duo continued their battle with a pair of birdies on the 11th.

Dredge got into real trouble on the 12th when he made a double-bogey after twice finding the heavy rough down the left and taking another drop, and that brought him back towards the pack.

The 43 year old Welshman and Lagergren both birdied the driveable 14th but the Swede bogeyed three of his last four holes, with Dredge dropping a shot on the last after failing to get up and down.

Belgian Pieters had five birdies and a bogey in his round while also recording a double-bogey on the par five fourth after finding the putting surface in two but putting the ball back off the green.
American Lipsky had five birdies and a single bogey in his round, while Spaniard Otaegui made four gains.

Kaymer is another man looking for a Captain's pick and the German got to eight under with a 66 that equalled the low round of the day.

Ireland's Dunne and Portuguese Gouveia both signed for rounds of 69 to sit a shot ahead of South African Richard Sterne, who was celebrating his 35th birthday.

Edoardo Molinari and Chris Hanson completed the top ten at six under.

Due to the threat of bad weather on Sunday afternoon, the players will go out in three-balls from the first and tenth tee from 0730, with the final group teeing off at 0920.
Paul Lawrie had halves of 36 for a 72 and a 54-hole tally of five-under 208 and a share of 12th place. He had four bogeys and three birdies over the par-71 course.
Fellow Aberdonian Richie Ramsay is T20 on 209 after a third-round 73.
