Six share lead on 73 at halfway in East of
Scotland Seniors Open at Edzell

There is a six-man logjam at the head of the leaderboard after the first round of the 36-hole East of Scotland Seniors Open at Edzell Golf Club today.
Sharing the lead on two-over-par 73 are Norman Dyce (Strathmore), David Gardner (Broomieknowe), Graham Bell (Downfield), John Fraser (Royal Burgess), Graham Murray (Moray) and Ronnie Clark (Erskine).
Clark had the best outward half of 34 with birdies at the fifth, eighth and ninth but a double-bogey 6 at the 12th robbed him of his momentum and it required a final birdie at the 18th for him to claim a share of the lead at the head of a field of 140 competitors.
Clark could have done with the inward half of 34 achieved by Norman Dyce (Strathmore).
