Paul Doherty rues first-round doubles after

good later scores in South Africa

Paul Doherty, former Scottish U18 boys champion, shot one eagle and eight birdies over the last two rounds of the South to East Challenge MENA Tour event at Zwartkopf Golf Club, Centurion at Pretoria, South Africa.
He finished tied 26th on 211 with scores of 74, 68 and 69.
Two double bogeys in his first round robbed him of at least a top-20 finish behind the South African 1-2-3.
Bryandrew Roelofsz won with scores of 65, 68 and 69 for 11-under-par 202, a shot ahead of compatriot C J Du Plessic (67-68-68).
