Sandy Scott leads Tartan Army at Lytham 

Trophy, lying third, only two off lead

Nairn youngster Sandy Scott is leading the Scottish challenge after two rounds of the 72-hole Lytham Trophy at Royal Lytham and St Annes Golf Club, Lancashire.
Teenager Scott is lying third on two-over-par 142 after rounds of 70 and 72.
He is only two shots behind the joint leaders, England's Bradley Moore (Kedleston Park) (72-68) and Alfied Plant (Sundridge Park) (67-73).
Jamie Savage (Cawder) is tied for fourth place on 144 with scores of 73 and 71.
Grant Forrest (Craigielaw), a former Scottish champion and Walker Cup player, is a third Scot in the top 10. He is tied seventh with rounds of 73 and 72 for 145.
Scott Gibson (Southerness) is tied 13th on 147 (71-76).
Stirling University student Mathias Eggenberger from Switzerland is sharing 16th place with rounds of 70-78 for 148.
Michael Smyth (Royal Troon) (70-78) is sharing 26th place on 140 with the Bath player, Jamie Li, who led the field with a one-under-par at the start of the day but sagged to a second-round 80.
Calum Fyfe (Cawder) 77-73, Ewen Ferguson (Bearsden) 77-74 and Connor Syme (Drumoig)  72-78 are tied 37th on 150.
Barry Hume (Haggs Castle) is tied 43rd with scores of 77 and 74 for 151.
Highland hope Kyle Godsman (Moray) has scored 78-74 for 152, sharing the tied 50th mark with Craig Ross (Kirkhill) 73-79.
Liam Johnston (Dumfries and Co) 79-75 and Jeff Wright (Forres) 74-80 are joint 64th on154.
Last year's Scottish amateur champion, left-hander Robert MacIntyre (Glencruitten) is tied 72nd with rojnds of 79 and76 for 155.
Matthew Clark (Kilmacolm) 80-79 and Chris Low (Tantallon), also 80-79 are tied 92nd on 159  - and will miss the cut for Sunday's final two rounds.
