Liam Johnston loses in Spanish quarter-finals
Liam Johnston (Dumfries and County), the only surviving Scot in the last eight of the Spanish men's amateur championship, lost by 5 and 4 in this morning's quarter-finals at Seville Golf Club.
Johnson, 22nd of the 32 match-play qualifiers, was beaten by France's No 3 seed, Romain Langasque.
This afternoon's semi-finals line-up is:
John-Ross Galbraith (Ireland) (25) v Scott Gregory (England) (12).
Romain Langasque (France) (3) v James Walker (18) (England) 4 and 3.
