Law shares lead, Cameron in third place after

two rounds of Red Sea Egyptian Classic

By COLIN FARQUHARSON
Aberdeen's David Law regained a share of the lead on a good second day for the seven Scottish competitors, all of whom made the cut at the end of the second round in the Red Sea Egyptian Classic at Sokhna Golf Club.
Law is on three-under-par 141 after rounds of 70 and 71. Joint leader is Frenchman Antoine Schwartzel (73-68).
The Paul Lawrie Golf Centre player was two over par after 10 holes but then birdied the 11th, long 17th and 18th for a 71.
Ellon's Ross Cameron (Saltire Energy) is in third place, only a shot behind the leaders after rounds of 72-70 for 142. He birdied the short ninth, 11th, 12th and 14th.
Dunbar's Alexander Culverwell, the former Scottish amateur champion who is making his pro debut, is in tied 10th position with rounds of 72 and 74 for 146. Bogeys at the 15th and 18th in an inward 39 saw him lose touch with the leaders.
Grantown's Duncan Stewart (Turnhouse) is tied 12th on 147 with scores of 76-71, which included a birdie at the short 16th and an eagle 3 at the long 17th.
Former Scottish amateur champion Chris Robb (Meldrum House) is tied 29th on 150 (78-72) while the Paul Lawrie Golf Centre pair of Sam Kiloh (78-73) and Philip McLean (78-73) made the 151 cut on the limit mark.
Kiloh had six birdies in all, four of them in a row from the 11th to the 14th.
