Jimenez gets last place in Nedbank Challenge

 EUROPEAN TOUR COMMUNICATIONS
Spain’s Miguel Angel Jiménez is the final player to be added to this year’s Nedbank Golf Challenge and completes the 30-man field that will tee it up at the Gary Player Country Club on Thursday
The final place was scheduled to go to Sunday’s winner of the Alfred Dunhill Championship, if not already exempt, but with Charl Schwartzel already in the field having replaced the injured Ernie Els, one of four tournament invites, Jiménez was offered the final invitation.
The colourful Spaniard returns to the tournament for the sixth time after finishing sixth last year, flying the flag for Spain in field representing 14 nations. England’s Danny Willett, second on The 2015 Race to Dubai, will be defending the title.
In 2014, Jiménez became the European Tour’s oldest winner with his victory in the Open de Espana at the age of 50 years and 133 days – the 21st victory of his career - and continues to challenge at the highest level with two runners-up finishes in 2015.
