Merit now up and running: See who's leading

Thanks to the generosity of Craibstone Golf Club general manager Billy Sim, the clubhouse restaurant - the Brimmond Bistro - is the season-long sponsor of the North-east Alliance Order of Merit.
The top three in the three categories: Scratch, and Handicap Class 1 and Class 2 - will earn cash (if a pro) or voucher prize (if an amateur).
It will be £75-£50-£40 for the 1-2-3 finish in all three categories.
All three competitions will end with the Championship Round 2 at Craibstone in March.
Ignore our last Order of Merit article about the best five scores over the season counting for final points totals. 
Instead it will be TOTAL points gained by players over the 25 NE Alliance meetings that make up the 2015-2016 season. This is to give players an incentive to play in EVERY competition.
