Alyth pro Mike Rae wins Midland Alliance 

with a 68

Local professional Mike Rae showed everyone the way with a fine, two-under-par 68 to win the Midland Golfers' Alliance individual scratch competition at Alyth Golf Club, Perthshire.

He won by two shots from Montrose assistant pro Graeme Brown and Edzell +2 amateur Gary Tough.

Leading handicap prize went to Gary Tough with a net 72. 

Winners of the team competition with a score of 60 were the Muckhart Golf Club trio of Frank Linden (10), Doug Gibbons  (9) and Martin Henderson (12)  LEADING SCRATCH
