No place like home for Michael Grunwell as he wins first South match-play title
Powfoot's
Michael Grunwell, playing over his home course, won his first South of
Scotland amateur match-play title this weekend.
In today's (Sunday) final, he defeated clubmate Liam Carruthers by 4 and 3
A blistering start of four birdies and an eagle saw him surge six up after only seven holes.
This was Grunwell's fourth appearance in the final.
