Wood v Woodhouse in final at East Kilbride
Ed Wood (Crow Wood) will play John Woodhouse (East Kilbride) in Thursday eveing's final of the Lanarkshire county match-play championship at East Kilbride (6.15pm)
Wood beat American college student Cameron Boomer by 4 and 3 in the first semi-final. Ed was a few shots under par.

There was a dramatic finish in the
other semi-final between Danny Keeney, 1990 Scottish boys finalist, now aged
44, and 18 year old John Woodhouse, a junior member at East Kilbride.
John was one
up playing the par five last hole and 15 feet away in three whereas Danny was 10
yards short of the green. Danny holed his pitch shot bu young John held
his nerve to hole the birdie putt for a one-hole victory. Danny and John are pictured above.
The final is
on Thursday at East Kilbride with a 6.15pm tee-off.
