Ian Woosnam emerged from a playoff with Kenny Perry and Tom Lehman victorious at the Champions Tour's Insperity Invitational, taking his first title on the over-50s tour.
Woosnam, 57, hit a 30-footer for birdie at the first playoff hole to win after finishing at 11 under for the 54-hole event at the Woodlands Country Club in Texas. First prize was $307,500.
"I managed to dig in and grind through it," Woosnam told the Associated Press. "Played some great golf and I was fortunate to long-putt on the playoff hole."
Woosnam, the 1991 Masters champion, carded a 68 in the final round to finish even with Perry and Lehman, who shot 66 and 69, respectively in the final round.
Woosnam teamed up with Sandy Lyle last week at the Bass Pro Shops Legends of Golf to tie for second.
Joe Durant and Michael Allen tied for fourth, one shot back at 10 under.

Colin Montgomerie finished T14 on 210 (67 72 71) for a $35,875 payslip.
Sandy Lyle tied 38th on 216 (70-73-73) to earn $10,455
Roger Chapman T44 on 218 (70-74-74)  to earn $8,200
