North District top eight match-play draw

The leading eight players in the weekend North District stroke-play golf championship make up the field for the match-play championship for the Robin Thomson Trophy.

Competitors will arrange dates and venues for their own ties until it gets to the final stage which will be be arranged by the North District secretary.

Quarter-finals (to be played by July 12)

Bryan Fotheringham (Inverness) v Chris Mailley (Royal Dornoch).

Sandy Scott (Nairn) v Bruce Thomson (Nairn)

Rory Franssen (Inverness) v Douglas Thorburn (Tain)

Fraser Fotheringham (Nairn) v Steven Rendal (Orkney).

Semi-finals to be played by August 23.

+If ties have not been played by the specificd dates, both players will be disqualified
