Rookie
professional Chris Robb, last year's Scottish amateur champion, achieved
his third top-10 finish on the German PGA developmental tour and his
highest ever finish as a pro with joint second place in the Open Dar Es
Salam over the testing par-73 Red Course at Rabat, Morocco.
Because
fog had delayed play on each of the three days, Robb had to play the
best part of two rounds today (Saturday).
He shot 76, 72 and 71 for
level par-219 - three shots behind the Swiss winner, Benjamin Rusch who
had scores of 75, 70 and 71 for 216.
Robb,
who lives at Banchory, plays out of Meldrum House Golf Club,
Oldmeldrum of which he was a member as amateur and who are now one of
his sponsors as a pro.
Chris
had five birdies in his final round - at the second, seventh, 10th,
11th and 15th, offset by bogeys at the third, 14th and 17th.
Portlethen's
Sam Kiloh, another rookie but attached to the Paul Lawrie Golf Centre,
