GUNN THREE PUTTS LAST GREEN,

FINISHES 2nd AT BUCKEYE, ARIZONA

Dornoch exile Jimmy Gunn, now based at Scottsdale, Arizona, finished second in the Egolf Gateway Tour event, the Spring Tournament, over 54 holes which ended on Friday  at Sundance Golf Club, Buckeye in Arizona.
Gunn earned $6,700 for a 12-under-par aggregate of 204, made up of rounds of 66, 66 and 72.
After sharing the lead at 12-under-par with Canadian Cory Renfrew with one round to go, Gunn slipped behind with a closing 72 to Renfrew's 71 for 13-under 203. Renfrew won the top prize of $12,000.
Gunn said he was "gutted" at the finish.
