Daniel Young 3 up after 18 holes in S A final
Daniel Young (Craigie Hill) was three holes up on Jovan Rebula after the first round of 36-hole South African amateur championship final at Silver Lakes Golf Resort.
Young eagled the seventh and birdied eighth and ninth to surge three up in quality match.
He lost the 10th and 15th, having halved the 14th in birdies.
The Scot regained two-hole lead with birdie at 17th, at which point Young was an approximate six under par.
Young then finished a great morning by birdieing the 18th to go in for lunch with a three-hole lead.
