ROSS CAMERON FINISHES JT 2nd IN 

EGYPT, EARNS 2,500 euros

Ellon's Ross Cameron, the overnight leader, finished joint second in the Red Sea Egyptian Classic - a German PGA Development Tour event - at Sokhana Golf Club.
Cameron, sponsored by Saltire Energy, earned 2,500 euros for rounds of 66, 71 and 72 for a seven-under-par total of 209. He tied with Benjamin Rusch (Switzerland) for the runner-up position behind the winner by three strokes, former British amateur champion Reinier Saxton from the Netherlands.
Saxton shot 67, 71 and 68 for 10-under 206 to lift the 5,000 euros first prize.
Northern Open champion David Law earned 646 euros for a joint 11th place finish on 215 with rounds of 70, 73 and 72. On the same mark was last year's Scottish amateur champion, Chris Robb (Meldrum House), a rookie pro. Robb shot 71, 70 and 74.
Kris Nicol (Paul Lawrie Golf Centre slumped to joint 32nd on 224 after a final round of 80 which included a double bogey 7 at the long seventh. He earned 329 euros.The Fraserburgh man's earlier rounds were 71 and 73.
Portlethen youngster Sam Kiloh (Paul Lawrie GC) finished joint 36th on 225 with scores of 70 78 and 77. He earned 309 euros
