NO CHANGE OF LUCK YET FOR BANCHORY PLAYER

BYRNE FINISHES 15th IN ADT ORDER OF 

MERIT: ONLY TOP 5 STEP UP
 
Banchory's James Byrne, who played in the winning GB and I team in the 2011 Walker Cup match at Royal Aberdeen,  finished 15th in the Asian Development Tour's Order of Merit for the year. Only the leading five gained automatic promotion to the Asian Tour.
Thailand-based Byrne, who has his 26th birthday on January 2 and is a former Scottish Northern Open champion, played in 14 ADT events in 2014 and earned US $22,043.
Ireland's Niall Turner will step up to the full Asian Tour after  finishing third in the Order of Merit with earnings of $46,218 from 12 ADT Tournaments.
