CAPE TOWN OPEN REPORT AND SCORES

EVER-IMPROVING DAVID DRYSDALE 

MOVES UP IN CAPE TOWN OPEN

David Drysdale has improved every round so far and now finds himself in joint fifth place with a day to go in the Lion of Africa Cape Town Open.
He had a third-round, four-under-par 68 for a tally of nine-under-par 207 at Royal Cape Golf Club today.
The 39-year-old from Edinburgh had six birdies - at the first, fifth, sixth, eighth, 11th and 16th in halves of 32 and 36.
Bogeys at the 10th and 16th left the Scot three shots behind South African joint leaders ~Danie Van Tonder and Hennie Otto.
Drysdale's earlier rounds were 70 and 69.
