HUTCHEON BEATS KELLY IN PLAY-OFF 

TO WIN DEER PARK MASTERS

Greig Hutcheon (Paul Lawrie Golf Centre) and Chris Kelly (unattached) tied for first place on nine-under-par 135 after some low scoring in the second and final round of the 36-hole EMTEC Deer Park Masters at the Livingston venue.
Hutcheon then won a sudden-death play-off at the first extra hole to collect the £2,600 winner's prize.
It was Greig's sixth victory of the season./

Hutcheon shot the day's lowest score - nine-under-par 65 - with an eagle and five birdies in a bogey-free card.

Kelly also had an eagle and seven birdies - but he also had a double bogey and a bogey which reduced him a 66 which could have been shots better and given him victory.
Stephen Gray (Hayston) led the amateur team of Scott Durham (handicap 18), Sean Furphy (10) and David McCaig (18) to victory in the morning shotgun start. They had a net team score of 14-under-par 58.
In the afternoon team event, Ross Dixon (Renaissance) led the trio of Graeme White (17), Steven Deans (11) and Darren Gilmour (18) to vicory with an 18-under par net total of 54.
