MATCH-PLAY CHAMPIONSHIP FINAL

Tuesday evening's  North-east District match-play golf championship final for the Jaffrey Cup  will be contested by Scott Robertson (Hazlehead) and Sean Lawrie

(Portlethen), pictured, nephew of Paul Lawrie, at Portlethen.

In tonight's semi-finals, Robertson beat Clark Brechin (Portlethen) by 3 and 2 while Lawrie beat David Morrison (Duff House Royal) by 5 and 4.
The 18-hole final will tee off at 5.30pm tomorrow.
Spectators will be made welcome.

Lawrie, Robertson, Brechin and Morrison were the top four scorers in the NE District team competition for the Journal Cup over 36 holes at Portlethen on Sunday.
