McILROY TO PLAY IN AT WENTWORTH NEWS RELEASE Two-time Major Champion Rory McIlroy is targeting The European Tour’s flagship event as the next addition to his glittering CV after confirming his participation in the 2014 BMW PGA Championship at Wentworth Club, from May 22-25. The Northern Irishman, one of the most exciting talents in the game, has been steadily returning to his best form, with three top ten finishes in five European Tour appearances so far in 2014, including finishing runner-up in the Abu Dhabi HSBC Golf Championship. He will now hope to convert that into silverware when he joins the world class field over the famous West Course next month, as the BMW PGA Championship celebrates its 60th anniversary.
