JOINT 19TH PLACE FOR SCOTS IN EGYPT

LAW, FINDLAY MATCH PAR IN FIRST

ROUND OF RED SEA CLASSIC 

Paul Lawrie Golf Centre stablemates David Law and Jordan Findlay both matched the par of 72 
to end the first day in joint 19th place in a field of 
74 for the German PGA developmental tour event, the Red Sea Ain Sokhna Classic at Sokhna Golf Club, Egypt today.
Law had birdies at the first, seventh, 10th, 13th and 18th but was dragged down by bogeys at the fourth, fifth, sixth, eighth and 15th.
Findlay cancelled out his birdies at the second, seventh and 17th with bogeys at the fifth, 13th and 16th.
Philip McLean, a third Paul Lawrie GC player in the field, shot a 75 for a share of 46th place. He had two birdies and five bogeys.
Leading the field with an eight-under 64 is David Antonelli (France) whose halves of 31 and 33 included one eagle and seven birdies.
