SCOTS MEN PLAY TOP SEEDS IRELAND IN HUNGARY SEMI-FINAL

Scotland beat Spain 3-2 and will play top seeds Ireland in Friday's semi-finals of the European senior men's team championship at Pannonia Golf and Country Club, Hungary.
Lindsay Gordon and David Gardiner lost the foursome 4 and 3 while Lindsay Blair went down by one hole in the lead-off singles.
But Alan O'Neill (winner by one hole), John Fraser (winner by 4 and 3) and Ian Brotherston (winner by 2 and 1) overturned the deficit for the fourth seeded Scots.
