KEITH HORNE AND DAVID SMITH WIN NE CHAMPION OF CHAMPIONS' FINALS

Keith Horne, pictured, beat Portlethen GC clubmate Clark Brechin by 5 and 3 in the scratch final of the North-east District's Champion of Champions tournament at Craibstone Golf Club today. 
The Handicap Final was won by David Smith (Aboyne) over Graeme Meade (Caledonian). Smith won by 3 and 2.

Horne was two up in the early stages but had been pulled back to a one-hole lead by the turn before forging clear with wins at the 10th, 112th, 12th and 13th.
