SCOTS IN WHICH A CRACK AT £10,000 PRIZE AT MARHALL.COM CLASSIC

Several Scots, headed by Shaun McAllister (Craigielaw) and Kirkhill's Paul Shields are in the firing line for a crack at the £10,000 jackpot prize in the PGA EuroProTour event, the 54-hole MarHall.com Scottish Classic which ends at the Bishoptown venue tomorrow (Friday).
McAllister and Shields are lying joint fifth on eight-under-par 132, McAllister with a pair of 66s, Shields with scores of 65-67.
They are three shots behind the two English leaders, James Maw (Abbeydale) (61-68) and Liam Robinson (66-63), who are a shot ahead of the field on 11-under 129.
Elliot Saltman (Archerfield Links) 66-68, John Henry (Clydebank and District) 66-68 are not so far away in joint 14th place on 134 while Paul Doherty (Vale Hotel) 71-64 and Paul McKechnie (Braid Hills) 67-68 are joint 20th on 135.
To make it through to the final round, competitors had to shoot three-under 137 or better.
Andrew Oldcorn (Kings Acre) and Zack Saltman (Archerfield Links) both missed out by one 69 in each round.
