USA-BOUND JAMES STEVEN BREAKS BOTHWELL CASTLE RECORD

James Steven signed off from Bothwell Castle Golf Club with a course record 63 in the Wednesday Medal. James is off to the University of Central Arkansas on a four year golf scholarship.

He had 7 birdies and 11 pars in halves off 34 and 29.  The previous record of 64 was held by Colin Baird.

James has had many successes in Lanarkshire Golf including the men’s County Championship and various boys’ tournaments. His record score takes him to plus two. He flies out to USA on Saturday.
