REES WINS NORTH OF SCOTLAND SENIOR OPEN

Glyn Rees, 66-year-old two-handicapper from Fleetwood, Lancashire, won the North of Scotland Senior Open at Cruden Bay.
Rees had rounds of 73 and 72 for a five-over-par total of 145 (CSS 74-72). He won by a shot from three players - Tony Patterson (Sunningdale) 76-70, Gordon MacDonald (Glenbervie) 72-74, and Barry Brooks (Murcar Links) 72 74
Ian Morrison (Royal Aberdeen), playing off three, and Glyn Rees, jointly had the best net aggregate of 141. Morrison had net rounds of 73-68, Rees 71-70.
