JIM WATT BEATS LINDSAY BLAIR IN SCOTTISH SENIORS FINAL

Edzell's Jim Watt has won the Scottish senior men's open amateur match-play championship for the first time.
Watt, the 12th qualifier, beat the No 2 seed, Lindsay Blair (Grangemouth) by one hole in the final at Alyth Golf Club.
In a keenly contested match Watt was never behind but three-putted the 16th to see his lead cut to one hole. 
After the 17th was halved, Blair's attempt with a 15ft putt for a birdie rimmed out on the last green. The hole was halved in par, leaving Watt the champion.
In the morning semi-finals, the Angus man beat Bill Erskine 9kilsyth Lennos) by one hole while Blair beat Alan O'Neill (West Lothian) at the 20th.

Jim Watt (Edzell) bt Bill Erksine (Kilsyth Lennox) 1 hole.
Lindsay Blair (Grangemouth) bt Alan O'Neill (West Lothian) at 20th. 
FINAL
Watt bt Blair 1 hole.
