CRUDEN BAY OPEN CHALLENGE CUP TOURNAMENT

We have been blessed with wall to wall sunshine all week in the Challenge Cup, sponsored by Steadfast Scotland.

A total of 133 competitors took to the course on Tuesday and Wednesday to battle for those coveted 48 places in the match play stages.

Today we are down to the last four in each section, with some surprises on the way no doubt.
Yesterday defending scratch champion Nick Macandrew (Royal Aberdeen), pictured,  recovered from four down after nine holes to win at the 19th against local junior Liam Allan.
