DUNECHT HOUSE REPORT
FROM IAIN POWELL
The
2013 season kicked off today at Dunecht House. The full field,
beautiful weather and warm welcome made for a fantastic start to the
Paul Lawrie Foundation Under-15s Tour.
The Dunecht members always make us welcome and they came out in strength to help the competitors over the first nine holes.
We
had a few new faces, which is always great to see, and it was a first
time player, Andrew Yule from McDonald Ellon, who ran out winner with a
fantastic 41 points.
Local boy Greg Anderson and Murray Spence from
Peterculter finished a point further back.
Deeside member Chloe Henderson, also playing in her first Stableford, was the highest placed girl with 38 points.
Dunecht
kindly donated nearest-the-pin and longest-drive prizes. Nearest the
pin was won by champion Andrew Yule.
Calvin Duffton from Torphins won
the longest drive with a bit of help from the road!
