JOHN HENRY EARNS 400 EUROS IN AUSTRIA



John Henry (Clydebank and District), the only Scot to survive the cut, earned 400 Euros for a 46th place finish in the Alps Tour's Gosser Open in Austria today (Sunday).
He had rounds of 70, 73 and 74 for a one-over-par total of 217 - 15 shots behind the winner of the 5,800 Euros top prize, Irishman Brendan McCarroll (68-66-68).
Fraserburgh's Kris Nicol (72-76 for 148), Troon's Michael Stewart (74-76 for 150) and Ellon's Ross Cameron (Saltire Energy) (78-73 for 151) all missed the cut on 143.
