JOHN HENRY ONLY SCOT TO SURVIVE IN AUSTRIA

John Henry (Clydebank and District) was the only Scot to survive today's second-round cut in the Alps Tour's Gosser Open at Johann Erzherzog Golf Club, Austria.
Henry made it with nothing to spare after a double bogey at the 15th put him under
pressure. He shot 70-73 for one-under-par 143- nine shots behind the joint leaders,
Brendan McCarroll (Ireland) (68-66) and Austria's Martin Wiegele (66-68).
Fraserburgh's Kris Nicol  (Paul Lawrie Golf Centre) missed out by five shots with scores of 72-76 for 158.
Michael Stewart from Troon shot 74-76 for 150 and Ellon's Ross Cameron (Saltire Energy) totalled 151 (78-73).
