PHIL DEMPSEY WINS WEST OF SCOTLAND SENIORS TOURNAMENT

Phil Dempsey (Tulliallan) had the best scratch and net totals in the West of Scotland Senior Open at Lanark Golf Club.
Phil, who plays off three, headed a field of 119 with gross scores of 69 and 76 for a total of 145 and net scores of 66 and 73 for 139.
Keith McAllister (South Shields) (73-73), George Rodaks (Pitreavie) (71-75) and David Gillespie (Turnhouse) (69-77) were joint runners-up on 146.
