HENRY WINS 700 EUROS FOR SEVENTH PLACE FINISH IN SPAIN

Scott Henry shot one of the best rounds of the final day - a four-under-par 67 - to finish seventh and earn 700 Euros in this week's Hi5 Pro Tour event, the El Valle Open, in south-east Spain.
The Cardross man, pictured, had six birdies on his card for a total of one-over-par 212 as he finished seven shots behind the Swedish winner of the 4,070 Euros first prize, Gustav Adell (68 for 205).
A couple of double bogeys over the first 36 holes cost Henry a top-four finish.
Callum Macaulay made the top 20 with a 74 for 218, a share of 18th place earning the Tulliallan player 330 Euros.
Banchory's Greig Hutcheon had a 74 for 220 and joint 24th place. Hutcheon and fellow North-east player Scott Henderson (Kings Links) both earned 50 Euros although Henderson had a 71 for 224 and 29th place.

COMMENT PIECE BY GREIG HUTCHEON

Great tournaments on the Hi5 Pro Tour but tough 30-40 km winds have been the regular conditions along with full waterproofs plus wooly hat.
These conditions plus greens at 10 plus on the stimp have led to green watering during the golf which I haven't seen since Australia!
I was hoping for better playing conditions to work on my game but instead I'm tired of tough grinding days and my back problem seems to be flaring up.
Due to see physio tomorrow.
