A FEW DOLLARS MORE FOR JIMMY GUNN IN ARIZONA
Jimmy Gunn from Dornoch finished joint sixth in the one-round All-American Professional Golf Tour event at Club West Golf Club, Phoenix in Arizona today.
Gunn, who has been campaigning on the American satellite tours for two or three years, had a five-under-par 67 and earned $487.50, bringing his earnings on this tour up to $3,212 from the first three events of their winter schedule - it doesn't snow in Arizona!
Gunn was joint fourth and joint third in his first two outings.
Winner of the third event was American Tommy Medina with a nine-under-par 63, two ahead of compatriot Jesse Mueller. Medina's prize was $1,390.
