PAUL O'HARA EARNS 2,500 EUROS FOR JOINT 2ND IN GERMANY
Paul O'Hara finished joint runner-up in this week's EPD (German PGA) Tour event - the Pfaffing Classic - withh a 14-under-par total of 202.
The Colville Park man finished only one shot behind the winner of the 5,000 Euros top prize, Maximilian Glauert, 24, from Dusseldorf. Last week Glauert won the German PGA championship.
Like O'Hara, Glauert had only one bogey over the three rounds of the Pfaffing Classic but he had one one more birdie than the Scot who birdied 15 holes and bogeyed only the 10th in the second round.
Germany's Allen John shared second place with O'Hara. They earned 2,500 Euros each
Glauert scored 66, 66 and 69 for 15-under 201.
O'Hara had rounds of 67,67 and 68 for 14-under-200 while John scored 66, 67 and 69.
