GB AND I BOYS WIN JACQUES LEGLISE TROPHY BY FIVE POINTS

The Great Britain and Ireland team without a single Scot in the line-up did rather well in the Jacques Leglise Trophy boys international match against the Continent of Europe at Neguri Golf Club, Spain at the weekend.
GB and I won the two-day match by 14.5pt to 9.5.
The first day scoreline was the Continent 5.5, GB and I 6.5, and the second-day Continent 4, GB and I 8.
Toby Tree and Harrison Greenberry, this year's British boys champion from Exeteer,  won all four matches for GB and I.

Day 2 results (Continent of Europe names first):
FOURSOMES (0.5-3.5)
Thomas Detry and Kenny Subregis lost to to Toby Tree and Callum Shinkwin 2 holes.
Jon Rahm and Kristoffer Venture lost to Gavin Moynihan and Gary Hurley 4 and 3.
Goncalo Pinto and Javier Sainz halved with Dermot McElroy and David Boote.
Maximilian Rottluff and Robin Goger lost to Nathan Kimsey and Harrison Greenberry 1 hole.
SINGLES (3.5-4.5)
Detry lost to Tree 4 and 3.
Venture bt Shinkwin 4 and 3.
Sainz lost to Moynihan 3 and 2.
Pinto bt Hurley 4 and 3.
Florian Loutre halved with Paul Kinnear.
Rahn bt Kimsey 5 and 4.
Rottluff lost to McElroy 2 and 1.
Goger lost to Greenberry 4 and 2.
