EAST KILBRIDE JUNORS WIN LANARKSHIRE CHAMPIONSHIP

 East  Kilbride juniors became Lanarkshire champions for 2011, at Hamilton Golf Club today,  when they defeated Bothwell Castle juniors in the final on a countback after the match finished 3-3.
East Kilbride won by virtue of a better 2 hole advantage overall. This was great news for East Kilbride following on from their recent opening of their new clubhouse three weeks ago. The official opening will be later in the year.
