KRAFT TWO UP ON FAVOURITE CANTLY IN US AMATEUR FINAL

Underdog Kelly Kraft, 22, from denton, Texas lost the 18th hole but was still two up on the favourte, Patrick Cantly, 18, the world's top ranked amateur from Las Alamitos, California, in the 36-hole final of the US amateur championship at Erin Hills, Wisconsin.
Kraft knocked out the last surviving G B and I Walker Cup team selection, Jack Senior, Heysham, by 3 and 2 in Saturday's semi-finals.
