TOP SEED SIMANTS LOSES IN ROUND 1 OF LOTHIANS CHAMPIONSHIP

Lothians Championship is now into the match-play stages at Broomieknowe Golf Club.
Leading qualifier Stephen Simants (Dunbar) lost at the 20th hole against Myles Cunningham (Craigielaw) last night. Simants, three up in the early stages, eventually lost to a birdie at the second extra hole.
