FORBES, MACLEMAN SHARE ALLIANCE HONOURS AT MUIR OF ORD

One under par 67s shared the top honours at Muir of Ord in Saturday’s North Scottish Golfers’ Alliance fixture.
Early starter Malcolm Macleman (Moray) birdied the fourth, 15^th and 16^th and bogeyed the fifth and 11^th.
Previous Muir of Ord club champion John Forbes (Inverness) birdied the sixth, eight, 10^th and 15th but bogeyed the fifth, 16th and 18th against par of 35-33.
Kevin Thomson (Moray), out with Macleman, three-putted the ninth, looking for an outward 31, before coming home in 37 to finish third, pipped by a shot.
