NORTH BOYS WIN TEAM EVENT AT KINLOSS

North District won the UBC Trophy boys' team golf tournament at Kinloss Country Golf Club today  They totalled 705.
North-east (731) were runners-up and Angus (774) third.
Jeff Wright (Forres) had the best individual score of 65 - one under the CSS.
Tom Dingwall (Nairn Dunbar) was runner-up with a 66. Four players had 69s - Rodger Clarke (Moray), Dale Wright (Alness), Andrew Burgess (Nairn) and Freddie Brown (Nairn Dunbar).
