CRAW'S NEST TASSIE GOES TO ENGLAND


Chris Harrison (Stoneham) holed a 60ft birdie putt for a 2 at the short 16th to beat Windlesham's James Phillips in an all-English final to the week-long Craw's Nest Tassie golf tournament over the Carnoustie Championship course on Saturday.
In the morning semi-finals Phillips beat Jonas Bengtson (Sweden) 3 and 1 and Harrison beat Daniel Teece (Baildon) one hole.
The handicap Maulesbank Trophy final was won by Garry Croby (Lingdale) who beat Geoff Kirwin (Romford) 4 and 2.
In the semi-feinals Kirwin by Andrew Wasik (Prestatyn) by one hole and Croby beat David Ash (Preston) at the 20th),.
