DAVID ANDERSON IS NE CHAMP OF CHAMPS


Strathlene's David Anderson won the North-east District's Champion of Champions' competition at Newburgh on Ythan Golf Club today (Sunday). He beat Gordon Munro (Fraserburgh), the 2009 North-east boys' champion, at the 20th hole in the final.
The handicap title was won by Paul Sinclair (Auchenblae). Playing off 12, he beat Duncan Lamont, a 14-handicap Buckpool member, by 2 and 1.
