CHRIS KELLY WINS CADZOW CUP AT BONNYTON


Bonnyton's Chris Kelly of Bonnyton won the Cadzow Cup 36-hole open golf competition at Hamilton Golf Club today. It was his first two-round victory of the season and he won by virtue of a second-round 68.
Clubmate Grant Beaton and Robert Jenkins (Crow Wood) also finished with aggregates of 144 but had second rounds of 71 and 76.
Paul Shields (Kirkhill), winner recently of the North of Scotland open amateur stroke-play at Inverness, was joint first-round leader with a 68 but slumped to a second-round 82.
