Monifieth win Angus county boys' team championship at Letham Grange

Monifieth Golf Club won the Angus county boys' team championship at Letham Grange by one stroke from defending champions Downfield who were going for a record four in a row titles. Leading the Monifieth team was junior champion Grant Bowman with 71, backed up by Ross Munro 74, Scott Smith 77 and Calum McKay 79 for a total of 301.
Downfield totalled 302 with scores from Ross Storrier 70, Reece Mitchell 76, Kevin Wilkie 79 and Greg Urquhart 77.
The handicap section was won by Forfar by a single stoke from Ballumbie 2.
