Today’s Portlethen Golf Club pro-am finished in a logjam of players at the top of the leaderboard.
Greg McBain (Royal Dornoch), Callum Nicoll (Prestwick), Stephen Gray (Hayston), David Orr (East Renfrewshire) and Robert Arnott (Bishopbriggs Golf Range) tied for victory on five-under-par 67.
They each earned £565.49 for finishing one strokec lear of Paul McKechnie (Braid Hills) and Steven Taylor (Bothwell Castle) who each earned £246.54.
McDonald Ellon Golf Club tour pro Ross Cameron, who tied for eighth place on 69 with Lindsay Mann (Carnoustie) and earned £180.74, led the Proserve UK Ltd amateur trio of Jim Lyons (handicap 16), John Robb (18) and Sean Elrick (18) to victory in the team event with a 14-under-par net score of 58.
