Stables survives mid-round crisis to win
North Scottish Alliance at Nairn Dunbar

Elgin Golf Club professional Kevin Stables, with a two-under-par 70, won the weekend North Scottish Golfers' Alliance fixture at Nairn Dunbar despite a hiccup on the back nine where he ran up three penalty shots in two holes.
An unplayable lie off the drive at the 13th and a lost ball at the the next resulted in bogeys, but a 2 4 4 4 finish - three under par - secured a two-stroke win.
Ian Turner, with a net 67 off 14, achieved the best handicap score.
