Edinburgh & East of Scotland Golfers' Alliance

Harburn's Stuart Wardlaw wins Pitreavie
Trophy at Dalmahoy West

Overall winner of the Edinburgh & East of Scotland Alliance's Pitreavie Trophy over the Dalmahoy West course was nine-handicapper Stuart Wardlaw (Harburn) with a net score of 64. Scratch player Andrew Rothney (Deer Park) had the same score but Wardlaw won on the better back nine.
In first place in the scratch section in a field of 97 was +2 handicapper Zack Saltman (Craigielaw) with a five-under-par score of 63.
Zack had seven birdies (first, fourth, sixth, seventh, 11th, 13th and 15th). His only bogeys came at the third and eighth.
In second place was the eldest of the three Saltman brothers, Elliot, with a 65, which included seven birdies, a double bogey and two bogeys.
Andrew Marshall (Houstoun Golf Range), Andrew Oldcorn (King's Acre) and David Patrick (Elie) shared third spot on 67.
The next Edinburgh & East of Scotland Alliance meeting is at Eyemouth Golf Club on December 10 for the M Allan Memorial Trophy.
